Type a password to see how strong it is and how long an attacker would need to crack it. It all happens in your browser. Nothing is sent or stored.

Averages assume the attacker tries guesses in the smartest order we can recognise and finds the password after trying half of them.
How this works, and its limits
- It is an estimate, not a guarantee. A password that scores well can still be unsafe if you reuse it or it has already leaked. Check whether it has leaked.
- Best advice: use a password manager, a unique password for every account, and at least 14 characters, or four or more unrelated words. Turn on two-step sign-in wherever you can.
